Just installed this, no probs, registered etc. Came to run it and it flashes up original disc not found/authenticated. It's a genuine purchase from GAME. Any ideas?

shot in the dark and I'm not insulting your intelligence here, but you do have the disk in your cd/dvd drive dont you?

Do you have any kind of drive emulation software runnnig or multiple DVD drives. The program may be looking at the wrong location when trying to load.

Whoops, sorry about that. Didnt think it was ilegal if the original disc was owned....

My apologies to the mods, i was unaware of this.

i jsut bought it from game and have no problems. i dont run getright either.

My guess is you have either Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120% installed or had either installed.

I have Daemon Tools here, 2 DVD drives and it looks OK. Maybe take it back to where you bought it and get it swapped? Could just be a duff disc?

/edit - it looks as thought the OP hasnt replied back and were all talking to ourselves guys

No, I am still here, just working damned long hours with no PC access. I tried everything I could think of, uninst firewalls etc. - made no difference. Was getting to the point of despair then finally managed to get it working by...wait for it...turning the internet connection off. Works fine every time now ?!
