Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Platinum, any good?

Hi there,

I am buying a new sound card and someone recommended this. It's a bit more than i wanted to spend though and I was wondering if there was anything out there that basically did all the same things, but was perhaps a bit cheaper.

To be honest id get the audigy 2 platinum eX as its cheaper and has more connections, the only difference with the ZS versions is the support fior 7.1, the 2 eX only suppoorts 6.1.

If you dont really need the connections then id get an X-Fi as its cheaper than the zs.
