I always see questions asking about traffic control on how to limit, for example, the affect on voice and gaming traffic from other types, but there's very little feedback on this.

Bear in mind I'm a Cisco fanboy and would rather spend a few hundred quid on a box that does what it says on the tin and controls my outgoing and inbound traffic (no matter what my wife does :) fairly well.

I know what's out there, so I don't need suggestions on what to do, but anybody want to share what they're actually using for their traffic control and how successful it is?

Week-old 877 with 12.4(4)T1 Advanced IP Services.
Currently just using fair queueing, will eventually use something more advanced (most probably just in time for the Sun turning white dwarf).

Works (reasonably). Can max out from Usenet without pings jumping into the 4 digits.

Thanks tolien. Guess there haven't been as many success stories as I thought there would be.
