Yeah, saw this a while back and I've used it a couple of times since I can't be bothered to install a Ruby interpreter locally. Ruby is awesome for little throw-away scripts, especially maths stuff since it has built in support for huge numbers :)

I worked through that this afternoon :D

It's dam cool, but as i know no other programming language (apart from small amounts of PHP) im guessing Ruby isnt the best place to start ?

It's as good a place as any. The relative lack of documentation (compared to something better established in the Western world, such as C#/Java/C++/whatever) might be a bit of trouble but there's probably more than enough for a beginner.

All depends on what you want to do.
