Hi,

Just a quicky (as they say).

I've just been in contact with o2 and they've offered me a 3230 as a replacement for my 7610 (covered under accidental damage).

I've done a quick check and the spec's seem to tally up, but just as a sanity check, is this ok?

Both are Series 60, both use MMC memory.

Does the 3230 run tomtom etc?

Costing me £25 excess, but I'd rather pay that than upgrade and start a new contract..... I'm waiting for the N80 before upgrading.

The 3230 is virtually identical. It was released quite a while after the 7610 as a budget smartphone, but it's essentially a 7610.

I've heard it had a few bugs when it was first released, but it sounds like most of these have been ironed out now.

Being a Symbian phone, it'll run Tom Tom just fine.
