Wireless networking problem!

Trying to help one of my mates. He has NTL cable broadband and a belkin wireless router. For some reason every couple of months it just stops working and says little or no connectivity. The repair function wont work and the only thing I could do to make it work was to uninstall the wireless router and re-start windows & re-install it again.

I thought that would be the end of it but it's now happened another couple of times and each time the only way to solve it seems to be my first proceedure.

Any ideas what's causing it to just stop working?

Er, reinstall?
There's nothing to install in the first place.

All the CDs are just a wizard for the web interface - so it sounds like you're just setting the router up again.
