Noticed a problem today on the new Dell D610 I have at work. It's been added to the domain and everything, works fine except when you first boot it up. It's set to join ANY wireless network regardless of preference although the one I want it to join is in there anyway as the only prefered network.
I noticed that when first turned on, even if I leave the PC for a few minutes without logging on I can't log into the domain, domain not available error is displayed. However if I log in locally to the PC I actually see it connecting to the wireless network, can log out and back into the domain then.
Am I missing something ? first time I've had this problem, possibly missed something when creating a default user profile? Any ideas appreciated, I'm fairly convinced it's not a wireless setting that's wrong now. It simply doesn't appear to attempt to connect until AFTER you've tried to log in, which is too late.
