Could have been something else on the track aswell, e.g. oil, coolant.

Lots of standing water to which would be a pain if their on slicks or inters ;).

They look like endurance cars to me, probably a mix of nationalities like at Lemans.

I'd say they are all running massive amounts of downforce, at the (lack of) speed they are going looks like they aren't getting any grip at all from the downforce. A mate races ex Group C (old Lemans cars) which runs about 5000Kg of downforce and super strong springs which basically acts like no suspension at low speed. You have to go into a bend either very slowly or much faster than you would expect else the downforce isn't giving the car any grip. In the wet like that you need to be getting enough downforce to force the tyres through the water so you have to maintain quite a speed through the bends. It's a fine margin obviously :eek:
