Quick DVI/VGA Question

Basically, i'm looking at ordering a new Graphics card in the next few hours and notice that a lot of the new ones are Dual DVI, however i'm still on a CRT with a VGA connector.

Now i have a DVI adaptor that i got when i used to have a Radeon 8500 but am a going to be getting the exact same image on my CRT as i would if i were using a proper VGA connector????

Whatever GFX card, you should find 2x DVI-VGA adaptors in the box, Picture quality will be fine.

Setup a system the other week with a TFT (had both DVI & VGA inputs) so tried both DVI-DVI and DVI-VGA with an adaptor and couldnt see the difference.
