I am looking to sell my Opty144 and get another chip, so which is the best one around at the moment - type and stepping.

Cheers all

P.S. As the title says £150ish is my limit at the moment.

3700+, X2 3800+ if you can stretch your budget.

Just bought a x2 3800 for myself, and the next day (today) ordered one for my work account.

Stretch another £40 - anyone can get that other £40. The 3800x2 is a phenomenal overclocker.

(I am always getting my clients to buy from overclockers as it is usually good service).

Looks like dual cores the way to go. Got one myself, just waiting on my gfx card arriving :( As for single core, the 06** Opty 146's seem to be getting some cracking clocks of late.
