NF7-S2G how to change multiplier

just bought this board off ebay for £35 and it works fine, only I can't adjust the multiplier anywhere, so my cpu (Athlon XP-M 2500+) runs at 1200mhz when i set the fsb from 133 to 200 (im asuming the multiplier is stuck at 6) is there any possible way I can change the multiplier to, say, 11 so I can get 3200+ speeds at least?

didnt some of the barton cores (2500xp, 3000xp etc) come multi-locked upwards on certain week manufacture codes? it could be that yours is locked upwards??

no, because I used to run the same CPU in a gigabyte GA-7N400 Pro board at 3200 no problem. Apparently the NF7-S2G has no multiplier options (lord knows why cause the NF7-S v2 is possibly the best board you can get for overclocking a barton, and its vertually identical to the S2G)

but, I found a solution to my problem. I found a hardware mod for my board that enables a max multiplier of 14. So now it runs at 2324mhz (14x166)

that the mod where you put a piece of metal between 2 or more pins to change the multi?

The s2g is a stripped down s2, which is the sucessor to the all-great nf7-s. That's why.
