7600GT Arctic Coolers???

Are arctic cooling going to be releasing a cooler for the 7600GT ?

Or what are the alternatives?

I'm told the Arctic Cooler for the 6600GT (PCI-E) is compatible but don't quote on me that as I haven't tested it yet. A good alternative is the new Zalman VF900 but it's not cheap.

I got a missed delivery card for my zalman today (VF700-CU) so will hopefully collect it tomorrow and fit it, to confirm it is compatible for everyone else who is inetrested.

VF700-CU fitted to Leadtek 7600GT without issues at all, running silently @ 5v.

Zalman is better, great cooler, easy to fit... just watch out for the surface mount components on the back of the vid card, make sure the nuts don't short to them.

Not tried anything since the install tbh, I went for the Zalman for silence, not OC. On the stock cooler the Leadtek would outclock the stock settings on the XFX extreme (£20 more) version

mine's clocking to 630 core & 830 ram no worries, think the RAM will go a lot further, its the same GDDR3 on x1800XTX's etc

My ram bottles out at just over 830 and core at about 625, so I think you do get your money's worth with the XXX if you want to OC.
