Cannot install Ethernet drivers on NF3

I have recently come up against this problem on my Epox 9NDA3J, when I try and install the Nforce 3 chipset drivers it gets to the installing nvidia networking driver then crashes rendering XP unbootable.

It also means each time a re-install which is a royal pain.

Was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if possible a solution.

Im going to state the obvious and ask is this the latest bios/latest network drivers?

I chose the Nforce 3 section in the download section, should I try Nforce 4? and bios is one version out of date - might try flashing

I take it you mean the download section on nvidia.com?

If so i might try using the network driver off of the motherboard cd, its not like a graphics driver, probably wont be any different to the latest.
