SATA 2 on a SATA motherboard?

Is it possible to use a SATA 2 Harddrive on a SATA motherboard?

the drive is a Seagate Barracuda and the motherboard is a MSI Nforce4

It should be fine - I am using a 250Gb WD SATA II on my SATA 1 mobo - the drives are meant to be backwards compatible.

Have you looked at the SATA II sticky at the top of the forum?
