Problems with Omega drivers on a Laptop

Hi

My Laptop has a Radeon x700 mobility in it. However it uses 3rd party drivers (Evesham) and Catalyst drivers won't load.

Anyway, i heard that these Omega drivers should work with anything. However i tried this and they completely messed up the display - totally corrupt. (Since reset with system restore thank god).

During the install there was a question something like "Do you have IGP or a Laptop" - to which i replied YES. However thinking about it is this a badly worded question that assumes all Laptops have IGP?

Your thoughts on this much appreciated.

Thanks

hmmm

so the question could have been misleading - if i had answered NO then maybe it would have worked

thanks
