If you do - im having the pfollowing issue:

Heres what i did to attamept to get it working on my Netgear WGT634 router...

1)FOllowed the instructions here: http://wiki.openwrt.org/OpenWrtDocs/Har … ar/WGT634U

2) Downloaded the Firmware from here (and i fear, my mistake) http://www.puyb.net/download/openwrt/

3) Uploaded it and it said "uploading firmware", do not reset etc etc - so i didnt

4) Waited ages - attempted to ping 192.168.1.1 - nothing

5) rebooted router- waited - same - no response to a ping

I thought the default IP should be 192.168.1.1

Anything to check its only good for the bin - or is there hope yet (please say there is!)

I've only had experience in flashing my WRT54G (and actually flashing OpenWRT, but DD-WRT etc)

I know on the WRT54G you can quite easily save a bad flash, I've managed to do it a few times now. I dont know if yours is any different but on mine it waits for 5secs or so once you first switch it on, in this time you can use a tftp program to send the original firmware over to it. It's almost impossible to brick.

Maybe worth asking the same question over at http://forum.openwrt.org/viewforum.php?id=3
