Thinking of getting an SD card reader as it's quicker than using my camera/pda, but I was wondering what the internal drive bay readers connect to?

I'm guessing it could be the motherboard USB connectors but I could be wrong.

What if you have no more motherboard connectors? Ideally I would like a card reader with one cable to the motherboard, with two header connectors on the card reader PCB itself.

My motherboard has two USB header ports, stacker has three cables (6 USB ports) so two are unused. If I buy a internal card reader I'll only have two USB ports on the front...so if the card reader has two internal connectrsI can connect the front panel USB cables to the card reader, and have all 6 ports functional. If that makes sense.

There are some 3.5" flash card readers that have standard USB connectors. The one I have was supplied with a backplate with a hole in it, you stick the USB cable out the hole and connect it to one of the mother board USB ports.
