Best Amiga game ever?

As theres not been much talk about it Turrican 2 deserves at least one screeny..

Starglider 2... That game was awesome, I had it for the spectrum 128k and I had no idea that it was on the Amiga aswell until a couple of moths ago.

The music on that game was fantastic! I still have those tunes burned into my brain!

Level 2 music was unbelievable went with the action and everything - probably the best action platformer in a good while.

The bit where the wind blows you back and you have things flying around you is a stunning effect for the time (and the fact that the wind propels you as well).

Ah them were the days.

I still remember the cheat...

On the main screen press space to go into the music select menu then hit 1 then hit 4 then hit 2 then esc then esc to have infinite lives with no score.

In a weird colour above so you have to highlight it to see it properly.

Rick dangerous
Speedball 2
Turrican 2

I think the devs of these games wont mind as I did actually pay money for them many years ago. I just dont have an amiga to play them as it broke

OMG I had that problem, never did owrk out what to do with the enemy aircraft carrier.

Any Midwinter fans?

I too spent hours trying to kill that sub/carrier.

A couple of others,

Archipelagos - Turn the land from red to green and destory those rocks!
Warhead - Superb space combat game
Epic - Massively over hyped rubbish, really liked though!
Tower Of Babel - Great 3D puzzle game where you take control of 4 types of robot spiders.
F29 Retaliator - Great set slightly in the future flight sim

Turrican2

With regards to T2 on the Amiga yeah it was terrific and the music especially was great but believe it or not the Commodre64 version had superior shot em up sections with parralax scrolling whilst the Amiga version did not make full use of the hardware in these stages.

Was even 2 x Turrican3D projects for the PC a few years back but both got cancelled. Details below:

Ive been searching for information about on of the Crusaders demo for the amiga for ages. It was on a CU Amiga Coverdisk I think many moons ago along with a demo of Pang and Super Off Road.

The demo had a Drum kit, a Microphone and a Guitar I think and had some really good (for the time) music and effects. Anyone ever see this one?
