Hmmm....it looks like it's gonna be 1.4 against 1.5 on normal 7900 GT and the price is £20-£30 more than the standart one. If not less...

All GT's use 1.4 memory though.

Well its gonna have better clock speeds than other GT's plus twice the amount of memory so its gonna be quite a lot more money though it will remain cheaper than GTX cards. Also remember that the Goes Like Hell varient will no doubt be quicker than STD clocked GTX cards.

Is there news on it being cheaper than the XXX editions and extreme editions of the 7900GTs?

Don't be silly its got 512MB of memory, those cards only have 256, this will of course be more.

You have the XFX 7900GT XXX for £305, I didn't think this one would be too much over that one? The GTX is £381.

hmm xfx gtx for 380, or 40 quid lower and get a gt7900 with same memory and the potential to mod it...

what do we reckon the hs/f is like on that baby too? worth keeping or an upgrade to a vf900 or something?

With the cost of the VF 900 on top you are talking only 20 quid saving over the GTX.

I have fine tuned our prices a little more. All XFX 7900 GT's reduced, well the overclocked ones anyway and Gainward 7900 GT 512's also reduced. Give it 5 mins for the prices to go live.

Could someone tell me how these (7900gt GS and GLH models) would compare to a ATI x1800xt and x1900xt ?
I am currently stuck as to which of the 4 to buy for the best price/performance.

BTW - I want to run @ 1600x1200

I believe X1800 is still quicker and the Sapphire on This Week Only is an absolute bargain at £160 +VAT for an X1800 XT.

The X1900 is a lot quicker than any of the 7900 GT's.

I am still on the market for a card and this seems to be a good choice especially with the volt mod.
