I'm having a strange problem with one of two PCMCIA linksys wpc54g cards for me step dads laptop.
Problem:
Bought a WRT54G router last monday along with 2 wpc54g laptop cards, all fine and dandy on initial setup, connected to internet fine, excellent.
Put my laptop and me step dads into standby, open the lids back up to boot up, mine reconnects fine, step dads didn't , the power indicator come on but it didnt re-connect to the network, odd.
The only way to rectify this is to pull the card out then push it back in again.
I thought it may be something to do with the port or some software setting, but i tried his card in my laptop and it does the exact same thing
it seems strange it will work if u unplug then replug it back in, but just wont initiate after restarting the laptops?
Any idea folks, or is the one card a dud?
