So i need a new sound card. I've picked a new set of speakers to get (Logitech Z-2300) and now i want a new sound card to go with them. Currently i'm using a SoundBlaster Live! 24bit (PCI) and it's ok, i get mediocre output but i can't record anything multitrack (using Cubase SX, whether through MIDI or guitar directly in or microphone). I'd like something i can use to record with sufficiently (only needs 1 input, i won't record more than 1 thing at a time) and that can output some nice music to the speakers quoted above. A breakout box isn't something i'd not want or want - if it comes with one then i'll use it, if not then no loss. I'm assuming with Cubase SX it will need ASIO support aswell as MIDI with low latency. Thanks in advance.
