I fail to see how the hell my mobby bills will ever go over the base line rental of £26.25 (flext35 with 25% off) as I called orange n they informed me my average talktime was 500 mins offpeak n 300 texts. So fingers crossed I should be quids in ;)

Yup. The Relax tariffs are 12 months.

Gah. I use an E700 as my day to day phone still, despite having an MDA pro and an iMate Jam. Want the vario 2 and I am not signing up until it's out.

I can still see me using 2 phones a lot though, a decent 3g flip would be nice for 90% of my calls and the vario for a bit of web browsing as the filtering at work stops almost everything, screen shots of games like dead rising are "forbidden: violent content".

So the Vario 2 is going to be 3G so I can have it on a web and walk plan for £7.50 extra a month on a 12 month contract? And what is t-mobiles 3G coverage like?

How much is the phone likey to be?

I spoke to T Mob today n was informed that they apparently are going to be using "3"s network to help with the influx of new customers they have got due to their recent promotions so network coverage/3G coverage should not be an issue.

So I will be able to get 3G data speeds 24/7 for £7.50 extra a month. Skype all the way!

This is more use to me than the 25% off deal, I'm really thinking about moving accross to T-Mobile, unless O2 can lower my Tarriff again (currently £15pm for 200 xnet mins, 500 text). I really fancy a Vario II, plus O2's CS is rubbish. Are T-Mobile any better?

Also, when is this offer due to expire?

Unfortunately you cant use skype (VOIP) on the WnW service. If you are caught they will limit your connection speed. Look carefully at the small print mate - no streaming media or VOIP services (read skype into that!).

I am gettin an MDA Pro and gonna use it for skype by connectin to my wifi setup at home.

Thats a shame, still free 3G data is good. What the conection speeds on there 3G? All unlimeted amount of data for £7.50?

Its not capped at all, just as long as you dont heavily stream data. They should be able to tell the difference. If they catch you (which they most likley will) there is a socket limit i think, or something like that. *shrugs*.

I directly asked customer services if they were going to be able to cope with the huge amount of new customers due to their recent promotions. I was told that T-Mob had recently been upgrading their network with more aerials etc nationwide and that they would be using the "3" network as well to piggyback on and as such coping with the huge customer base shouldn't be an issue.

Please feel free to correct this information anyone from T-Mob, 3, etc but I'm just passing on what I was told.
