Hi all,

Right, I'm bored of my car now so I want to change it - to something more economical. I can't be bothered with huge running costs anymore so I'm looking for something fairly modern, resonable running costs but nothing major boring, around the 6-7k area. I'm a bit clueless to be honest because nothing springs into my head when I try to think of what I want. Any ideas? :)

Performance isn't a huge concern as long as it doesn't take an hour to get to 60. 8 seconds or thereabouts. Practicality again isn't much of an issue, I just want a decent car to get around in that I can have the odd smile with now and again.

Broad choice I know. I'm open to any suggestions really. :)

mk1 172 and some change, and a big smile :)

Doesn't cost much to run imho, but I guess it depends on the person, although comeing from a Supra TT :)

172 popped into my head as well. What's the petrol costs like?

Normal driving will get you about 34-35mpg or higher or harder driving 28mpg roughly ish :p depends really but its very good on fuel all things considered
