SIL RAID driving me nuts!!!

I have a ASUS A8N SLi deluxe with 2 x 320 plus 2 x 250 GB SATA drives on the NVRaid as ordinary drives.

I managed to creat a RAID 0 with 2 x 200 GB SATA drives on the SIL3114.

File format for the 379GB RAID failed under admin tools. When I wnet into the SIL Array Manager, one of the discs was greyed out, the other bright green (irrelevant I know).

Rebooted and went into SIL 3114 BIOS configuration and now cant create a RAID of any description as the full 379 GB is reserved.

I have no experience (except bad) of RAID, can someone tell me how to unreserve the space and re create the RAID.

PS I have had to disable the SIL3114 in the BIOS otherwise machine hangs in the text part of the boot.

Yours desperately seeking RAID

Fixed

Manually entered the RAID settings and then it allowed me to overwrite the reserved drive space.

One quick format and it's ready to go.
