PROPER Shields
Hello everyone, you must get sick of these, but I don't want to buy the wrong thing :)

Basically, I'm looking for 2GB (2x1GB sticks) to suit my needs with the following setup:

AMD 3700+ SD
ATI X800GTO2 256mb
320GB WD master
Sapphire PURE Innovation Gruper Radeon Xpress 200P (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard (MB-001-SP)

My main uses of this setup will be to play games, I'm hoping to play BF2 and F.E.A.R. at top spec.

Many thanks!

EDIT: I forgot to mention, my limit is 190 pounds.

Are you going to overclock it? if so then i suggest you get one of the pc4000 modules, if not the i would go with one of the low latency pc3200 sets

G.Skill 2GB DDR ZX PC3200 2x1gb and Corsair 2GB DDR XMS3200C2PT TwinX (2x1GB) CAS2 look good for the price :)

The Gskill has slightly tighter timings for the same money.

Thanks, any advance on other brands?

With the Muskin out of stock and the OCZ being so expensive they're the only two I'd be looking at to be honest, unless you want save some money and take the Geil Value, but you may find they hamper with your overclock.

was about to recommend these myself...

G.Skill ZX series user here, wonderful stuff... no problems here at all, great tight timings, fast stuff and they overclock very nicely too.

definately best in its price range at the moment (imo anyway)
