I currently own a Medion PDA MD95000 that was brought from aldi a couple of years ago. I want to upgrade the software as it's out of date. Don't really know what the best way to go about this is. To buy new tomtom software and install that, or just buy another unit and sell this one second hand.

Just weighing up my options. When you buy tomtom software does that entitle you to free updates/upgrades?

Has anyone else here upgraded the software on the medion pda at all?

you used to be able to upgrade free through minor versions which were essentially bug fixes but if you wanted to go from 4 -> 5 then no you have to pay for it.

what you need to do first is to see whether TomTom can be run on a Medion PDA MD95000 before going out and buying it otherwise it'll just be a waste of money.
