for an opteron 146 and 7800gt.
i need: 2 ide sockets, 1 floppy, 1 or more sata 2 sockets, 1 or more sata 1 sockets, 2-4 total.
4 dimm slots
good vcore+vdimm adjustments
some onboard goodies would be nice.
are nf4U much better from the normal nf4 ?

are any of these any good?:
Asus A8N5X nForce4 (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard (MB-120-AS)
Asus A8N-E nForce4 Ultra (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard (MB-088-AS
Abit KN8 nForce4 (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard (MB-086-AB)
Abit KN8 Ultra nForce4 Ultra (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard (MB-087-AB)
*MAYBE* asrock 939 sli (if it takes the 1.8 bios and likes pciex cards)

budget is around £50 and i already have the asrock dual sata2, but its playing up.

I'm don't know which is better but I'm currently looking at the Abit KN8 Ultra nForce4 Ultra to go with either AMD Athlon 64 3700+ San Diego 90nm (OEM) for £109 (+fan/heatsink) or AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 3800+ (retail) for £170.

I'm currently trying to figure out what memory to use for that board. Does the Abit KN8 Ultra nForce4 Ultra take DDR2 RAM? What RAM is recommended with this motherboard (something cheap but realiable)?
