wireless mouse+kb for gaming?

Is the technology responsive enough for gaming, ie fps type games ?

any hardware recommendations would be great.

Logitech G7 is my favourite atm, but im not sure about keyboards.


also what is the range on these? i was hoping for more than a metre or two.

I know quite a few heavy gamres that use wireless mice (not sure about kbd), but their batteries are perenially failing in the middle of a match.

Pain!

you can set the g7 to give you a flashing warning light on the mouse when it's 25% power left.

you can adjust this too.

dream mouse really.

well im going to get the g7, i just cant find a keyboard to match.

its so i can play games on the big screen without having to drag wires accross the room.

I had the logitech mx desktop for for over 2 years was great never had a problem with wireless for gaming.


But i have gone back to wired now have a g15 keyboard and mx518 gaming mouse.

Got hacked off with flat battries and having to wait for them to charge.

g7 comes with 2 batteries, 1 charges while the other is being used, so your never without. battery swapping takes about 2 seconds and the battery simply slips into the wireless receiver to charge(takes either 2 hours on boost or 10 hours on normal).

oh yeah and 2000dpi :cool:
