Go with whatever you feel like, but it is this Scrooge's opinion that the X1800XT (even the 256MB model) will last quite deeply into 2007, at which point there will be more than a few DirectX 10 titles out. Save your money. :)

Well the killers the brand new XT's at £145, fair enough they have only got 256mb, but i think ppl would still prefer to buy brand new, so if you cant get more than that for yours then id forget it, as the x1900 XT is nowhere near worth an extra £150 over the x1800 (as the cheapest x1900 here is about £300) imo of course, but at the end of the day its up to you, but id say the resale value of the 512mb ones has gone because of the brand new 256mb ones for £145.

I simply cannot get over how good my HIS iceq X1900XT is. Playing HL2 Lost Coast with HDR, 16XAA and 8XAF looks absolutely stunning. It renders an absolutely ridiculously high frame rate for what it's doing.

I also can't believe the CRYSIS videos were done on an X1900XT. It's a godlike card :D

i'm ordering that card for my sn25p shuttle, if it doesnt fit with the air duct taken out i'll have a nervous breakdown......as i hate the ref design of the x1000 series.

quick question tommyb is the cooler flat the whole length of the card?? does the fan at the end pertrude?
