I've just purchased a new western digital hard drive and an icybox, assembled the two parts and formatted the new drive as one partition.
However, when I put data on the new external volume, I'd like to have the option of securing some files and data. What does everyone else use, has anyone got any experience of truecrypt? http://www.truecrypt.org/
In addition, ideally, I'd like the new volume to have almost like a small operating system on it, say like i could install a webserver and use that to log my music etc. What are the options for this?
