£150 for an AGP card

as in title, what card should i get? as long as its good thats all that matters

ive got a p4 2.8ghz, 1gb ram below that preferable. also how much will i get for 9600 128mb, we can factor the cost in of that aswell. say if i got £60 i then have £210 to spend

If you've got £150 to spend on AGP then your best bet is going to be the 6800 GS, pretty decent card for that money. Even if you had £210 you'll be hard pressed to find anything on AGP.

I think there's or have seen a Radeon X800 GTO 2 for AGP, but that doesn't have Shader Model 3 support like the 6800 GS does.

Unless of course you can stretch your budget upto a 7800 Gaidward bliss card then that should sort you right out :)

Brand new a 6800gs is probably the best bet for the money. Secondhand anything from the X800XT/X850XT or 6800gt/6800ultra selection.

Your old 9600pro isn't likely to fetch anywhere near £60 I'm afraid, more like £20-30 if you are lucky, you can get 9700/9800pro cards for (a lot) less than £50 regularly now.
