Compatibility query mobo vs PSU

Asus P5WD2 Premium Intel 955X and a Zalman 400W PSU, will they work ok?

I see on the mobo that it has 2x 12V inputs on it but just the normal PSU input (not like my SLI PSU on my main PC) as well as a molex in.. now I got the board on it's own so I don't know what PSU will work ok with it.. Will I need to get a new PSU? Or do I just use the 12 line that the PSU has as well as a molex into the mobo? Or do I leave the Molex connector well alone?

You'll need a PSU with an 8-pin 12V wire instead of the usual 4-pin.

What is the molex for - do I need to use that as well as the 8 pin?

The board uses an 8-phase power design so those extra connectors are needed to provide enough current (especially when the system is heavily overclocked).
