lo peeps just have a few questions on sky.

Have just bought a second hand box, do i just need to call sky and
match my card to the box and ask them to turn on *** recording
feature? (then give them a tenner a month)?

also is it easy enough to change over the LnB so i can have dual
tuners etc.

Cheers

you should just be able to ring sky and match the box card etc. As for the dish you will have to run another cable to the lnb or replace your existing cable with a dual one. Depending on the make of your dish and the make of your dual lnb you might have to tweak the angle of you dish to get a decent signal

I did exactly as you have done, to change the LNB couldnt be simpler, the old one will have a little pin to push through the arm and then it just slides out. You obviously need another run of coax to carry the second feed to the box.

Changing the box just pull the card from the old one, phone sky and tell them that you have just bought a sky+ box and you need the 2nd tuner turning on, they will take the box details and it'll come on instantly :)

Still charge you £10 a month though i'm guessing

I'm sure that if your mix of channels is over 30 quid a month, then Sky+ features are included, as long as you request them, and register your box/card etc. ( I was going to say free, but somehow, that wouldn't have sounded quite right!)

Yeah my box came today so gonna replace my old one tonight
and pair up my box and card, and pay the tenner a month.

At least for now ill have a "single channel PVR", just about to order
my Quad LnB so i can change that over!

Can anyone reccommend me a good one or are they all pretty much the same?

Cheers
