(well I've got to do somthing other than watch BB)
well I'm back from sainsburys and yet again having money in my pocket I was tempted into buying some beers/ales/whatevers.
so along with my case of larger I have here.........
  • Hobgoblin
  • Black Sheep Ale
  • Greene King Export Strenght IPA
  • Old Tom (warning contains malted barley)
  • Waggle Dance (its got a red head on it so I had to)
  • Hen's Tooth

so, I'll be starting with Hobgoblin as thats what my m8s have been going on about for a while, have any of you blighters tryed the others before now?
[edit]

Full Bodied & well balanced with a chocolate toffee malt flavour, moderate bitterness & a distinctive fruity character with a ruby red glow
well I'd not call it ruby but its a nice enough look,
the tastes kinda indistinct, I can see where they are comming from with the chocolate toffee idea, asif they burnt chocolate fudge then thinned it with water.
the head lasted about 2 seconds, but other than that I can't realy fault it, its not bad in any real way, but then its not realy that good either.
