Firefox and vanishing mice

Just a quickie - all of a sudden my mouse pointer (or rather cursor) has gone into stealth mode in my browser. Unless I'm actually moving it, it vanishes - which is bloody annoying.

I assume I accidentally hit some keyboard shortcut to do this, however I cant find a way of undoing it under options or the usual places.

Any ideas?

Under the mouse options in the Windows control panel there is the option "hide mouse pointer as you type". Maybe that has something to do with it, as if I recall correctly that setting has a different effect depending on the browser you are using
