Where's best to shop for car audio??

Caraudiodirect.co.uk tend to have the higher end stuff whereas the other places tend to have your more mainstream makes and brands.

As above, never had any problems with car audio direct. They also tend to be the first to have new leads etc. so you can hook up your stereo properly so it works with your stalk controls/dash displays, and if they don't have them in yet give them a call and their sales people are very helpful.

They also have excellent forums that will be able to assist you if you have any problems/questions about fitting your stereo, with quite a lot of reps from the various manufacturers posting on there.

They helped me out massively when I was trying to get my Alpine to work with everything in my 172.

Just ordered a Sony CD tuner that plays MP3/WMA for £99.99 which is all I wanted as I don't want to be one of those losers at traffic lights blaring out the tunes that no1 else wants to hear. It was quick and easy and I will recommend it in future. thanks for the help. :)
