what printer would you recommended for photo printing and cd printing.....my r300 is packing in. i dont want to pay too much, i like epsons because of the cheap cartridges but i heard that canon printerrs are better for not bein used that often.

The Canon Pixma IP 3000 is the best printer I have ever bought.

Cheap to run ( individual ink cartridges ) , quality prints , closes up when not in use ( keeps dust out ).

Would recommend the Canon Pixma IP range.

Cheers,

Mark

what kind of prices do the cartridges sell for?

i did want the epson rx700 for its all in one with cd printing, but dont really want to pay nearly 300quid.

so i was thinking abotu either a canon, (ip4200 or ip5200) or the epson r220 and get a continuous ink supply.

I have had a Canon IP4200 for several weeks, and it has been excellent.

I bought it mainly for CD/DVD printing - which does very well. Quick too - about 2 mins.

It's also very good for text - close to my Samsung Laser printer.

Highly recommended.
