I have been offered this for 1000 euro.

The Shuttle XPC SN26P Mini Barebone comes with:

AMD Athlon™ 64 4000+ @ FX-57 ( San Diego, Socket 939, @ 2800 Mhz.)

2 X Corsair CMX 1024 400mhz Memory PC3200 ( total 2048 Mb Ram )

XFX 6800GS 256mb Graphic Card ( XFX GEFORCE 6800GS 256MB DDR3 TV/DVI )

Maxtor SATA 300 GB Hard Disc

NEC DVD+/-RW Double Layer ( _NEC DVD_RW ND-4551A )

Good deal or not? it will be used for Word and as a HTPC

I think i will sell the cpu (how much would i get) and put a normal A64 in.

so what do you think? i have to go get it later today if i want it.

Thats a ******* great deal tbh. Bit over-the-top for Word + HTPC but its a great rig.

I would say thats a good deal. Weakest part is probably the graphics card, but even then it will play games okay now and could be upgraded in the future. For the cost of a shuttle its a great buy
