Hi all,

Got an old PC (K7S5A, Athlon 1.4GHz, hdd, cdrom) which has a dead PSU, just stopped running one day. Checked it all out with PSU from my machine, which works fine.

Am looking for a PSU that's nice and cheap, say up to ~£20, cheaper the better (less money spent on this means they can get a new PC sooner, but they need this one up and running ASAP)

Thanks in advance for the help :)

I think VaderDSL is right your best option for a quality PSU that cheap is to go second-hand. However almost any PSU will run a PC of that specification, I was running one with a similar specification although 2x Optical and 3x hard drives for about 3-4 years on a generic 300w right up until I sold it. So basically anything should do, even dare I say it Q-Tec :)
