What 250gb HD

I've looked at the benchmarks and can't really decide what to do... so... what are peoples suggestions:

I'm after 250gb and am wanting it to be quiet and reasonably fast (i.e. raptors are out of the question

)

So... limited it down to:

Hitachi deskstar
Samsung Spinpoint
Western Digital Caviar

Can people just put a few words down saying what they think would be most suitable, why and any experience they personally have had

Right, for SATA II the Deskstar is undisupted winner (With the special SATA II software enabled), then there's the Spinpoint which is quieter and cooler than the deskstar, but performs slightly worse. I had a 120gb Caviar and it's still going strong, the noise and heat are only a little bit above my new 250gb Spinpoint but the spinpoint tears it apart for performance.

So,
Deskstar for performance
Spinpoint for Coolest/Quietest with decent performance still
No idea how the new caviars are.
