I have this router..

Dlink Dl-624+ - Airplus Xtreme 108mbps 802.11g

http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=6

I do already have 802.11b connections, but I since now I am wanting to stream off video and also mount cdroms from a secondary machine and access them from another. Im finding this impossible with what I have now.

Would these 2 adapters allow me to stream video? Note, that I will be having a network with 802.11b and 802.11g adapters. So if I bought a product that says it will give an increase over g-rated speeds. Would I see it?

Here are the products.

BT Voyager 1060 Wireless Turbo PCMCIA Network Adapter (NW-001-BT)

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Online_Catalogue_PCMCIA_Adapters_200.html - 3rd item down.

Netgear WG111T 108Mbps Wireless USB2.0 Adapter (NW-074-NG)

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Online_Catalogue_USB_Network_Adapters_220.html - last item.

Sorry I cant link directly

Possibly, but you're also going to see issues because of the 802.11b devices.
Ultimately you're after one with the same chipset (if not brand) in order for the 108Mbps to work.

Thanks for the reply?

So to clarfy, I need all my devices to be dlink?

Or can I just have 3 devices that are 802.11g, i.e router, pcmcia and usb, to get as close as 108mbps.

If I get different brands, 108mbps just will not work?
