.....that facsinate/interest you. it could be positive or negative

For me, it has to be the following -

Japanese people. I like them for their skills and humbleness.

English way of life, how they still keep the monarchy (royal family) going even though imo there is nothing there. I also like the full-english breakfast, i wonder who made-up that fomular.

American attitude of me-myself and I / lets police the world mentality. The courage that was shown during the 9/11 event.

EDIT
Perhaps we can use this to educate ourselves on the common misconception about a race or their tradition...Feel free to ask any question about Nigeria and i will try to answer it to the best of my ability.

Like nunchuck skills, bowhunting skills, computer hacking skills... ?

The Russians interest me greatly. They seem mysterious, probably due to the fact that they were cut off from the rest of the world for more than 40 years. Seriously though, you don't hear any Russian news, how cool would it be to be Russian!?

I love Indian people for their horrendously hard working attitude.

I love Scottish and Irish people for their sense of humour.
I love Irish women too. Sometimes their accents are fantasticly sexy. I've had a mental erection at "hello" before....*drools*

I love Italians for their cooking.

I don't like French for their hairy armpits and stinky aura.

The world today seems absolutely crackers,
With nuclear bombs to blow us all sky high.
There's fools and idiots sitting on the trigger.
It's depressing and it's senseless, and that's why...
I like Chinese.
I like Chinese.
They only come up to your knees,
Yet they're always friendly, and they're ready to please.

I like Chinese.
I like Chinese.
There's nine hundred million of them in the world today.
You'd better learn to like them; that's what I say.

I like Chinese.
I like Chinese.
They come from a long way overseas,
But they're cute and they're cuddly, and they're ready to please.

I like Chinese food.
The waiters never are rude.
Think of the many things they've done to impress.
There's Maoism, Taoism, I Ching, and Chess.

So I like Chinese.
I like Chinese.
I like their tiny little trees,
Their Zen, their ping-pong, their yin, and yang-ese.

I like Chinese thought,
The wisdom that Confucious taught.
If Darwin is anything to shout about,
The Chinese will survive us all without any doubt.

So, I like Chinese.
I like Chinese.
They only come up to your knees,
Yet they're wise and they're witty, and they're ready to please.

All together.

Wo ai zhongguo ren.
Wo ai zhongguo ren.
Wo ai zhongguo ren.
Ni hao ma; ni hao ma; ni hao ma; zaijien!

I like Chinese.
I like Chinese.
Their food is guaranteed to please,
A fourteen, a seven, a nine, and lychees.

I like Chinese.
I like Chinese.
I like their tiny little trees,
Their Zen, their ping-pong, their yin, and yang-ese.

I like Chinese.
I like Chinese.
They only come up to your knees...

Same as OP, the Japanese interest me a lot, how they still keep their traditions even they do seem quite surreal to me.
