need a router for my pc and xbox360

Right is the one on ocuk any good the Netgear DG834 ADSL Modem/Router/Switch/Firewall.

Personally, I just grabbed a really cheap router...

I am currently using Netgears RPC614 (I think thats the model anyway

)

Works a treat.

A friend is using the exact same thing for his laptop, PC and 360... and can use all 3 at once without any problems.

(this is with NTL)

So I am guessing a cheaper netgear router should be fine

how about the Netgear RP614
netgear

its a bit cheap but would it get the job done, i really want it for my new xbox360. I already have norton antivirus and firewall so will i really need the one on the more expensive netgear router.

No ADSL modem (if you need one, but you haven't said) for starters.

you haven't specified whether you get your internet via adsl or cable....

edit: i'm guessing adsl as indicated by choice of router in first post...

yep adsl im with wanadoo got 2mb

And no worries now ive just ordered the Netgear DG834 ADSL Modem/Router/Switch/Firewall and i done the royal mail special deleivery so hopefully itll arrive before my xbox360 and then i can set up my router ready.
