for the love of god save the £90 and get the 1900 and the standard XT at that. It's on deal of the week which is money well spent IMHO.

I'm sure you can wait for the next gen cards. I can't think of any game you can't play on the 1900 without being silly.

If you have plenty of money to waste and want the bragging rights then sure go for the 7950. It's only forum bragging rights tho and to be honest, nobody really cares anyway.

If you game at high resolutions like 1600x1200 and above, then id spend the extra £90, your getting 2x 7900's for only £411 man!!! bloody stonking bargain, i would'nt wait to get a next gen DX10 card till theres actually stuff out for it that its worth getting a one for, and thats probably a year or more away yet, and in which time there will be more cards released, G80/R600 will be well old hat then. :)

Reviews are showing a 30% performance boost on the GX2's. That's why I'm considering it, for £90, 30% seems good.

Asides from the IceQ, from what I've heard all the other 1900XT's are too loud. There is a deal of the week on the Saphire for £214 and I could hook it into a Swiftech cooling rig, but how do I go about cooling the RAM on it?

And currently I game at 1280x1024 with 4xAA and 8xAF. The main game I play is Everquest 2 which can max out a 7800GT without any trouble at all.

Get the x1900 if you game at that res then, will run Oblivion maxed no probs, as it will everything else, im running oblivion maxed at that res on my x1800. :)

If your only running at 1280x1024, and not upgrading to a bigger monitor for a higher res, then a GX2 would be a waste.
