9800Pro fried, purchased a 6600LE in desperation

and, man its slow, or is it me?!?

Is the AGP 9800pro quicker. I used to be able to clock my 9800 to 400core, whereas the AGP 6600LE is 300 stock and runs like a morris minor!

Am I missing something?

6600LE is a 4-pipe, 128-bit memory card if I remember correctly. Even the standard 6600 (non-GT) might be marginally slower than a 9800 Pro.

Only the full 6600gt can beat the 9800pro, and that depends game to game.

400core is XT speed, the GT is about the same speed. Toms hardware do charts comparing cards, doubt these two you have are that close.
Maybe you can unlock it or bios flash it?
