From another forum:

'Horribly low fps on 1080i .ts files so far. Older drivers like 81.98 do 60fps with no jitter, this can't break 40fps.

Vsync accuracy has improved though.

Edit: Also, incorrect detection of my monitor's (21" Trintitron") refresh rate and resolution - won't go over 72hz or 1366*768.

Edit2: HD-mpeg2 performance with a 6150 board is fine for the first 30 seconds of video after you turn on (ie 60fps 0 jitter), then HD-mpeg2 falls to an unwatchable 44fps, 20 jitter. 720p is fine though, so it's some sort of deinterlacing performance problem.'

Can't comment on these yet..but you will allways see the unlucky one's having trouble.....but if you want positive here's from another forum. :D

GOOOD GOD in GTA SAN (with some modded cars high texture stuff ...) the frame rate went UP !!! for about 5-10 FPS !!!! unbelievable

I test with the same savegame doing the same stuff (played that game a lot)

went from 50 fps to 65 sometimes 60 fps at the same moments of the game !!!

I play at: 1280x1024 full AA set in the game; TAA Supersampling, Vsync off ....

I set the CP to standard and make sure to use the same settings as before (with 91.28)

tested it some more SAME results !!! FPS increase 5-10 FPS and the IQ increase was noticeable in GTA SAN ... I use moddified cars (made by other users that are HIGHLY detailed) and believe me if I use those cars I get for every minor detail it has to like it so I know what to look for and the IQ is better with this driver !!!

I know, just saying upgrading immediately isnt always smart, and new drivers arent optimised for old cards.

Quite right...but i have allways upgraded to new drivers and not a problem to date....as long as it's done properly. :)

How comes there's been sooo many driver releases - but non offical since 84.21?
Whenever a new card is released, the drivers on the CD are usually newer than the official ones, so websites like Guru3D upload them as beta drivers.
I think these 91.31's are taken from the new 7950 GX2 CD.
