Pretty much as title. I've managed to get hold of a minipci wireless card for my sisters laptop but it's having to connect through the intel software and not through windows. Can someone tell me how I can change this please so windows can handle it.

Thanks

Well wadda you know, I right clicked the intel icon thingy and there was the option to let windows handle the connection. I'm ill so I'm blaming me being stupid on that.

Cheers dude

Once you get it working ok with the Windows Wireless Zero Config utility, either uninstall the Intel software or disable it in the startup section.

The software is quite bloated and loads quite a few things on startup.

tbh, I'd disable both the intel utility and the windows one once wireless is setup.
