Just wondering if my samsung 930bf is HD or not?

depends what you mean. The screen can support 1280 x 1024 resolution so can handle a 720p signal certainly. However, for HDCP encrypted content in the future, the monitor won't work since the DVI connection is not HDCP certified. Playing HD content on your PC at the moment would work fine though at 720p and 1080 would just be downscaled
