Hi all,

I'm looking to buy a new rig in about a months time.
My current one is only an
AMD 2600+
1.5gb RAM
9800pro 128MB


What i need to know really, is what would be better...

What processor would be best, im looking at a dual core system, Intel or AMD/AM2, which do you think would be better, age old intel vs AMD debate i guess.

im pretty clued up on gfx cards etc, but kinda need to know if its worth while going SLI/crossfire or just a really powerfull gfx card?

Dont have to buy much else really as i've got most of the compenents, just need an idea on what CPU, RAM and gfx card option would be better, and more future proof!

Intel's new conroe processors will be out in a few weeks, so get one of those as they beat anything amd has to offer and also are just as cheap now.

IMO just get a really powerful gfx card.
