insurance/tax question

If a car is taxed and MOT'd but has no insurance are you still able to keep it parked on a street or should it be stored elsewhere?

I'm pretty sure you're going to say no it should be off the road, but thought i'd ask.

yes it must be kept off road if uninsured.

I thought it only needed to be insured to drive,as the tax covers it being on the road. :confused:

What?

The street is a public highway - so it needs insurance even if it's stood.

Only if someone is going to run into a parked car and they are hardly going to claim off you.

If the hand-brake failed on the uninsured parked car and it rolled off and into another car or wall etc........
